Explora Journeys unveils Explora III maiden season itineraries

Explora Journeys has released itineraries for the newest addition to its fleet, Explora III, during its maiden season.

The third ship will debut ahead of schedule on July 24 with a five-night Mediterranean Prelude Journey sailing from Genoa to Civitavecchia with tennis star Jannick Sinner on board, leading in from £36,600.

Explora III’s naming ceremony will take place afterwards in Barcelona on August 1 and the vessel’s seven-night maiden voyage will sail from Barcelona to Lisbon on August 3, with prices leading in at £3,960.

The vessel’s debut season will include destinations in Northern Europe, Iceland and Greenland, with a sailing out of Southampton on August 17.

The eight-night Journey to Stunning Fjords, Colourful Coastlines & Nordic Delights calls at Mandal, Stavanger, Olden, Bergen, Flam and Copenhagen, and costs from £6,400.

There is a 14-night option adds in calls to Tallinn, Stockholm, Visby and Ronne, and also finishes in Copenhagen, with prices beginning at £12,700,

An extended 23-night round-trip cruise from Southampton with the same departure date as the above two sailings costs from £17,820, with additional ports of call in Aarhus, Lysekil, Oslo and Hamburg.

Explora III will have 463 suites, with 313 Ocean Suites, 109 Penthouses, 109 Penthouses, 39 Ocean Residences and two Owner’s Residences.

The fleet’s first LNG-powered vessel also promises three new culinary concepts, in addition to “returning favourites” such as Anthology, Sakura, Med Yacht Club, Fil Rouge, Emporium Marketplace and Marble & Co. Grill.

“She has been conceived as a destination in her own right – a luxury floating hotel that offers even greater space, comfort and choice of amenities, while welcoming the same carefully balanced number of guests as Explora I and Explora II.”

Nash added: “As the third ship in our fleet, Explora III also marks an important milestone in our journey, bringing us halfway through our six-ship vision and reinforcing our long-term commitment to shaping a more refined future for ocean travel.
