Sailings will be on board Crystal ships with A&K-designed shore excursions
Sister brands Abercrombie & Kent and Crystal have partnered to launch a series of expedition voyages.
Itineraries will combine sailings on board Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony with “immersive” A&K land-based experiences and educational sessions by the brand’s expedition team.
The inaugural voyage will depart from Rome on August 28, 2026, with 50 passengers on Crystal Serenity. The nine-night Mediterranean itinerary will include stops in Sorrento (Italy), Syracuse (Sicily), Corfu (Greece), Kotor (Montenegro), Zadar (Croatia) and Ravenna (Italy), before ending in Venice.
Before departing, guests will spend an additional two nights at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel.
Included shore excursions range from pasta making classes in Bologna to hiking Corfu’s Mount Pantokrator and swimming in Kotor’s Blue Cave.
In 2027, A&K and Crystal will offer six voyages accommodating up to 125 guests. There will be a range of itineraries such as Hong Kong to Yokohama (Japan) and Lisbon to Portsmouth, as well as additional Mediterranean routes and a Canada itinerary.
A&K guests travelling as couples will stay in Crystal’s Sapphire Veranda Suites, while solo travellers will be allocated Aquamarine Veranda Suites with no single supplement.
Each voyage will begin with two nights at a luxury hotel, and guests can arrange extended pre or post-cruise itineraries.
Chief product officer at Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, Fernando Delgado, said: “This partnership represents the next chapter in our commitment to delivering extraordinary travel experiences that exceed our guests’ highest expectations.
“By bringing together A&K’s unmatched destination expertise and cultural access with Crystal’s ultra-luxury shipboard experience, we’re creating something truly revolutionary in the cruise sector.
“Our guests will enjoy the intimate, educational approach they expect from A&K whilst experiencing a new level of luxury and comfort that only Crystal can provide.”
