Elegant Resorts reaffirms commitment to providing ‘absolute peace of mind for clients’
Demand within the luxury travel sector remains strong in spite of ongoing global uncertainty, albeit with “evolving preferences”, according to Elegant Resorts.
As geopolitical tensions continue to dominate headlines and travellers reassess their plans with “understandable caution”, the operator said it was reaffirming its commitment to providing “absolute peace of mind for clients investing in exceptional holidays”.
The company reported revenue as being 25% up, with Caribbean bookings having increased by 90% year on year in the past four weeks.
Meanwhile, Europe is up 25% with Italy, Montenegro, France and Spain performing “particularly well”.
The Indian Ocean has seen a 70% uplift with the Maldives proving most popular.
“Should unexpected circumstances arise while clients are travelling - whether due to operational disruption, supplier changes or wider geopolitical developments - arrangements will be made either to continue their holiday with appropriate adjustments, or to facilitate a safe and seamless return home,” Elegant Resorts noted.
“If any element of a holiday is changed by an airline, hotel or other supplier, Elegant Resorts will always endeavour to provide a suitable alternative wherever possible. Each option is carefully assessed to ensure it aligns as closely as possible with the original booking in terms of quality, experience and value.
“Where an alternative differs significantly or does not meet the expected standard, and a client chooses not to accept it, the booking will be reviewed in line with the Package Travel Regulations.
“Depending on the circumstances, this may entitle the client to a partial or full refund, ensuring transparency and fairness at every stage.”
Managing director Gordon McCreadie (pictured) said: “Our clients expect more than beautiful destinations - they expect certainty, security and support should the unexpected occur.
“As an Abta‑bonded and Atol‑protected tour operator, we take that responsibility extremely seriously.
“Whether plans change before travel or disruption occurs while clients are abroad, our role is to ensure they are looked after with the care, speed and discretion that high‑value travel demands.”
