Preferred Hotels & Resorts has welcomed 21 new members to its portfolio.
The new additions include the brand’s entry into Egypt’s Nile cruise segment, with five vessels from Mazaj Cruises & Dahabiyahs now part of Preferred’s global portfolio. Mazaj Meroot, Mazaj Tamr, Mazaj Tulip, Mazaj Seba and Mazaj Sia range in size from five to 47 cabins and provide a variety of routes along the Nile.
Two hotels have been inducted into the brand’s Legend Collection: family-owned, 39-key Renaissance property Il Saviatino in Florence, Italy, and The Jaffa Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel.
In Preferred’s L.V.X Collection, new hotels include waterfront Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark - housed in an 18th-century warehouse once used by the Danish Navy and now providing 366 rooms, suites and lofts with harbour views - and Samsara Ubud in Bali (pictured), a boutique property of 17 private villas close to the region’s famous rice fields, with heated infinity pools, a holistic spa and curated cultural experiences.
Two Ocean Drive properties in Ibiza and Madrid have also become members, hosting 117 and 72 rooms and suites respectively, and each with Mediterranean-inspired dining.
Further properties span Egypt, Panama, China, Spain, South Africa and the United States.
The brand’s chief executive, Lindsey Ueberroth, said: "This represents one of the most significant new member announcements in our recent history – a milestone that underscores our continued momentum and signals what’s ahead.
“These additions reflect our commitment to curating exceptional, experience-led travel around the world, including our exciting entry into Egypt’s luxury Nile cruise segment, with five exceptional Nile cruise experiences now part of our global portfolio."
