Group has added 10 villas across Italy and Spain to portfolio
Mandarin Oriental has added 10 new private villas to its Exceptional Homes collection.
The expansion marks an “important milestone” in the evolution of the group’s portfolio of villas, which launched in 2022.
Each property in the collection is selected for its “desirable location, design and ability to deliver Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service”, which includes a dedicated concierge, private chef service and daily housekeeping.
Among the additions is the brand’s first Exceptional Home in Florence. Villa Petrucci has recently completed a five-year restoration and features secluded gardens and a private pool.
The expansion also includes Villa Marzia (pictured), which is set on the beachfront in Sardinia, offering direct coastal access.
Two properties in Puglia have been added to the collection, as well as six villas in the “key growth destination” of Marbella.
Philip Leighton, head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes, said: “As the portfolio evolves, our focus remains on purposeful growth; introducing new destinations that broaden our global reach while preserving the intimacy, discretion and exceptional service our guests expect.
“This next phase reflects both the strength of the collection and our ambition for its continued expansion.”
The new additions bring the total number of Exceptional Homes to 35 across 14 destinations.
