RV Hanoi Pandaw is scheduled to sail from November 2026
Pandaw Cruises is set to introduce a new ship in Vietnam next year.
The inaugural sailing of the RV Hanoi Pandaw is scheduled for November 1, 2026.
The 16-cabin vessel will be a sister ship to the Angkor Pandaw (pictured), which has been in service for more than a decade.
Both vessels will operate a 10-day river expedition through North Vietnam’s Red River and Halong Bay region.
Pandaw has begun construction of the RV Hanoi Pandaw at a shipyard in Haiphong, describing demand for the itinerary as being at an “all-time high”.
Company founder Paul Strachan said: “North Vietnam is one of the last frontiers for river exploration in Asia.
“Much of this region remains untouched by mainstream tourism, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to offer travellers a more intimate and immersive journey through its rivers and rural communities.
“The RV Hanoi Pandaw will allow us to deepen that experience, bringing our guests even closer to the cultural and natural richness of this
extraordinary region.”
