Event featured conference sessions and destination exploration
Homeworking franchise company Not Just Travel welcomed its top-selling agents to its annual Platinum conference onboard a Norwegian Getaway cruise in the Bahamas.
The five-night event also included staff from the agency’s head office members, 20 key trade partners and sponsors.
The event, which ran from November 19-24, featured two days of conference sessions and two days of destination exploration, plus several ship visits and a party in Miami.
The central theme was ‘Strategy’ with sessions led by co-founder Steve Witt and senior members of head office team, who covered topics such as ‘how to scale your business’, ‘how to grow high performing teams’, a social media masterclass, and cruise sales development.
Witt said: “Norwegian Cruise Line pulled out all the stops for this event and wowed us with their phenomenal support.
“These types of collaborative trips with our key trade partners make such a big difference to consultants’ sales.”
Not Just Travel consultant Ellie Parkinson commented: “This year’s NJT Platinum Conference was a powerhouse of opportunity. The support and enthusiasm from the NJT team left me feeling inspired and motivated for the year ahead.”
Paul Beale, sales vice-president for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas – which showcased Allura and Splendor in Miami – said: “It was great to have so many agents onboard, engaged and wanting to make luxury cruise holidays a part of their businesses.”
Gary Anslow, vice president and head of UK & Ireland at Norwegian Cruise Line, added: “Hosting Not Just Travel’s top-performing consultants on board Norwegian Getaway was a privilege. They are our most passionate advocates, now equipped with authentic stories from the ship and NCL’s private Island in the Caribbean, Great Stirrup Cay, which can only be learned through in-person experiences.
“We are already seeing the impact of their time spent with us, with consultants reporting increased bookings and confidence in selling Norwegian Cruise Line.”
Cruise sales represent the fastest growing segment for Not Just Travel, with dedicated coaching sessions planned, focusing on strategies to accelerate this growth.
