Brand has taken over Tenerife hotel to ‘further strengthen international presence’
Luxury hotel brand Domes Resorts has made its Spanish debut by assuming management of Baobab Suites in Tenerife.
The 125-suite property on Costa Adeje offers three restaurants, several private swimming pools, a spa and kids’ club.
The resort also features a recently introduced wellness offering including four padel courts, a beach volleyball court, power biking facilities and yoga and Pilates areas.
Expanding into the Spanish market forms part of the brand’s strategy to “strengthen its international presence [by] expanding its footprint in both mature and emerging tourism markets”.
George Spanos, chief executive of Domes Resorts, said: “We are extremely pleased to be entering Spain and, in particular, the rapidly growing market of Tenerife. As a year-round, 12-month sunny destination, Tenerife is highly attractive and strongly demanded by our Domes clientele.
“At Domes Resorts, we continue to pursue our strategic expansion beyond Greece, while offering diversified and high-quality hospitality experiences to our guests.”
This expansion comes as the company relaunches its sub-brand Aulūs, with Greek properties Aulūs Chania in Crete and Aulūs Lindos Rhodes scheduled to open in April.
