Additions will be line’s ‘largest and most exclusive homes available’
Explora Journeys has unveiled a second Owner’s Residence suite that will launch on board Explora III and Explora IV.
The ships will be the first in the line’s fleet to offer two Owner’s Residences, with the new suites created through a collaboration with architect and designer Patricia Urquiola.
They will be located on the seventh deck of both ships and feature a bedroom, dressing room, bathroom with double vanity, bathtub, rainfall shower and steam room, and a living area with space for an eight-seater dining table.
On the suite’s terrace, there will be a whirlpool, alfresco dining table and lounge chairs.
The residence can accommodate up to four adults when connected with an Ocean Terrace Suite and benefits from the services of a private butler and dedicated residence manager.
Explora III will embark on its maiden voyage from Barcelona to Lisbon on August 3, while Explora IV is expected to debut in 2027.
The line’s president, Anna Nash, said: “Patricia’s work reflects a sensibility naturally aligned with Explora Journeys. She understands how considered design can evoke emotion and how the right balance of light, texture and form immediately imbues a sense of ease.
“This is central to our Ocean State of Mind, which invites guests to slow down and feel fully connected to their surroundings. In the Owner’s Residence, Patricia has translated that philosophy into spaces that feel generous, grounded and deeply attuned to the sea.”
