Line has ordered a further seven Europe-based vessels as well as ships operating in Africa and Asia
AmaWaterways has unveiled plans for its fleet to exceed 50 ships by 2032, with an order for 15 new-builds across Europe in addition to a 60% capacity rise in other regions.
The luxury river operator currently has 31 ships with eight new vessels for Europe on order for delivery by 2030.
The newly announced expansion plans will see more than one ship added to the fleet each year, including additional ships on the Chobe and Nile rivers in Africa.
The confirmed line-up of new ships to launch so far includes: AmaNubia and AmaCleo on the Nile River in 2026 and 2028, AmaRudi on the Danube in 2027, AmaMaya on the Mekong in 2027, AmaGaia on the Douro in 2028, AmaFiora on the Rhine in 2027 and AmaClara on the Rhone in 2028.
More details on the upcoming ships will be shared in the coming months.
