Cunard marketing and sales boss Dave Jones to step down in September

Cunard vice-president of global marketing and UK and EMEA sales Dave Jones is to step down in September.

Jones took on the role in June 2024, succeeding Angus Struthers, having previously been the line’s marketing director.

He joined Carnival UK in 2017 from the fitness sector, becoming marketing director for P&O Cruises and Cunard.

His most recent position included responsibility for Cunard’s global marketing and sales strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Cunard confirmed in a statement: “We can confirm that after 10 years, Dave Jones, VP, global marketing and EMEA sales for Cunard has made the decision to leave the business at the end of September, and we thank him for his contribution.

“His leadership and commitment have helped strengthen how Cunard presents itself to the world. We wish him the very best for the future.”

Aspire sister title Travel Weekly has asked Cunard for details of plans for Jones’s replacement and the sales and marketing divisions.
