Scenic to feature in TV river cruise series with Angela Rippon

Vessels from Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours will be featured in a new TV documentary fronted by Angela Rippon.

The four-part ’Angela Rippon’s River Cruises’ series covers sailings along both the Danube and Mekong.

The hour-long episodes will air from May 9, at 8pm on Channel 5 and via streaming. 

Rippon travels on the 169-passenger Scenic Amber on the Danube through Budapest, Vienna and along Austria’s Wachau Valley, before reaching southern Germany.

She also sails on the 68-passenger Scenic Spirit on the Mekong to explore Cambodia and Vietnam.

The series marks her 60th anniversary as a reporter and TV presenter.
