Constance Le Chaland will welcome guests from February 5
Constance Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its portfolio in Mauritius with a sixth hotel.
The brand will take over management of Anantara Iko from February 5, 2026, when the property will operate under the name Constance Le Chaland.
Situated on the island’s southeast coast, the resort will feature 170 rooms, suites and villas suited towards clients “seeking space privacy and an authentic sense of place”.
There will also be eight restaurants and bars, two swimming pools, including an infinity pool and 25-metre lap pool, a spa with seven treatment rooms and direct shore access.
The guest experience will centre around Constance’s True by Nature philosophy, offering a “focus on wellbeing and immersion in the destination”.
Chief executive of Constance Hospitality Jean-Jacques Vallet said: “We are honoured by the trust places in us by [the property’s owners] the Currimjee Group, a major player in the Mauritian economic landscape, which shares values similar to those of the Constance Group.
“Constance Le Chaland will be a distinctive addition to our collection: a place where one feels nature, slows down and reconnects, carried by our service standards, our culture of excellence and our True by Nature commitment.”
The opening follows that of Constance Tekoma on the Mauritian island of Rodrigues in January 2024.
