Operator’s trade sales programme is up 15% year on year
Tailor-made operator Audley Travel saw its best-ever January sales last month, encompassing both direct and trade bookings.
The operator highlighted “the continued growth” of its trade sales programme, which is up 15% year-on-year.
Furthermore, Audley has launched a booking incentive for February and March, aimed at benefiting trade partners, the planet and communities in need.
Agents making a booking with Audley during the remainder of the quarter will receive a £50 Love2Shop voucher, plus £50 will be donated to the operator’s Travel for Good Fund – a programme which supports eight UN Sustainable Development Goals, including animal welfare, community and reducing plastic waste initiatives.
Additional prizes will be available each week for agents who have made an Audley booking the previous week, with winners selected at random via Audley’s agent Facebook group.
Nick Longman, chief executive at Audley Travel, said: “We’re delighted with our January sales and also to see such great growth in our trade programme.
“The trade team has expanded to five people now, with plans to grow further.
“This, together with our investment in trade fams, training and marketing support demonstrates how important travel agents are to Audley.
“We’re excited to continue to grow the trade side of our business during 2026.”
Four agent fams are planned for this year, including a trip to Namibia in May, as well as the ongoing support for its top-selling agents through invitation-only members club Kindred.
The first Future Faces of Luxury Travel training will start this quarter to support emerging travel agents.
