All-suite vessel Star Seeker will sail in Alaska and Japan
Windstar Cruises has unveiled its summer 2027 voyages on board its newest vessel Star Seeker in Alaska and Japan.
The 224-passenger all-suite vessel will debut in December 2025, and will offer a mystery cruise in Asia which embarks in Hokkaido and disembarks in Osaka in 2027.
Each port will only be revealed days in advance and feature maiden calls in South Korean ports.
In Alaska, the ship will take in destinations such as the glaciers in Kenai fjords, Tracy Arm, Endicott Arm, Misty fjords and Denali National Park.
In Japan, Star Seeker will call at Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kyoto, as well as smaller ports such as Karatsu and Takamatsu.
The luxury line will also offer an exclusive Destination Discovery Event in Tomonoura, Japan which will feature live koto music, samurai sword performances, tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops and private entry into historic residences.
Windstar Cruises has an early bird promotion offering a complimentary package with Wi-Fi, selected alcohol and gratuities and up to $200 onboard cred per suite for bookings made before November 15.
“Star Seeker was purpose-built for destinations like Alaska and Japan,” said Stijn Creupelandt, chief operating officer of Windstar Cruises.
“She’s small enough to reach tucked-away harbours and narrow passageways and personal enough that every guest feels connected.
“Pair that with our new Mystery Cruise concept and a one-of-a-kind Destination Discovery Event in Japan, and the 2027 summer season will be unlike anything else at sea."
