Tate Husband has more than 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality
Explora Journeys has appointed Tate Husband as executive director for the UK and Ireland.
Husband will lead the strategic development and commercial expansion of the line’s operations across the two countries. He will also manage the commercial team and new business development opportunities, helping shape Explora Journeys’ market strategy as it “continues to enhance its presence within the luxury travel sector”.
Having most recently served as director of sales and marketing at The Langham, London, Husband brings more than 25 years’ experience in global leadership and luxury hospitality to the role.
Antonio Paradiso, vice-president of international sales at the line’s parent company MSC Group, said: “Explora Journeys’ business in the UK and Ireland has been operating for three years and continues to experience steady growth. To support our next stage of development, we are delighted to announce the appointment of an executive director.
“Tate Husband will be joining our team, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the hotel industry and a background in some of the world’s most renowned hospitality brands, most recently with The Langham hotel.
“In this new role, Tate will guide our strategic direction in the UK, lead our dynamic sales team and play a key role in elevating the business as we enter our next phase of growth.”
The appointment comes as Explora Journeys prepares to expand its fleet, with Explora III set to debut in 2026, followed by Explora IV and Explora V in 2027, and Explora VI in 2028.
