Group’s sixth European outpost slated to debut in 2028
Raffles Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to open its first-ever alpine property in Courchevel.
The resort, set within French ski area The Three Valleys, is scheduled to launch for the 2028 winter season.
Raffles Courchevel will comprise 50 rooms and suites, many with private balconies, as well as a collection of dining spaces including a signature bar, tea lounge, two destination restaurants and winter gardens.
The property will also feature a spa and recovery zones, encompassing treatment rooms, thermal experiences, a fitness centre and swimming pool.
Younger guests will have access to a “carefully considered programme” that includes experiences centred around nature, sport and wellbeing.
The resort’s “premier position” within the Jardin Alpin precinct will allow clients easy access to Courchevel’s range of dining, cultural and social venues.
The group’s chief executive Omer Acar said: "The introduction of Raffles Courchevel marks an extraordinary milestone for our brand, representing our first venture into the stylish world of alpine luxury and our second distinguished address in France, joining Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris.
"The selection of Courchevel underscores our commitment to thoughtfully expanding the Raffles brand in the most coveted resort destinations worldwide. Raffles is celebrated for its highly personalized service, inherent sense of elegance and unmistakable spirit of glamour.
“Courchevel, with its natural allure and vibrant sophistication, provides the perfect match.”
The opening will mark the brand’s sixth hotel in Europe, following the upcoming launch of Raffles Lake Como in 2027.
