Group to debut Aulūs properties in Crete and Rhodes in April
Luxury hotel brand Domes Resorts has relaunched its “ultra all-inclusive” sub-brand Aulūs with two Greek properties scheduled to open in April.
Joining the portfolio is adult-only hotel Aulūs Chania in Crete and family-friendly option Aulūs Lindos Rhodes.
Properties in the Aulūs collection serve 24-hour buffets and à la carte dining options, as well as “grab-and-go” beach and pool service. There will also be two bars offering speakeasy experiences, DJ sets and themed evenings.
The brand also focuses on wellness, with yoga, Pilates and sound-healing sessions on offer, plus a twice-weekly Greek ‘Panigiria’ evening combining food, music and dance.
Aulūs Chania in the village of Stavros in northern Crete will house 200 rooms and suites, three main pools, Domes’ signature Soma spa and gym, plus an on-site chapel to host weddings.
On the southeastern coast of Rhodes, beachfront resort Aulūs Lindos Rhodes will offer 188 rooms and suites, many of which cater for families and feature private pools or Jacuzzis. The resort will house four restaurants, a Soma spa, gym, tennis court and kids’ club.
The two new openings will join existing Aulūs properties adult-only Domes Aulūs Elounda and family-friendly Domes Aulūs Zante.
The brand’s relaunch comes as the global all-inclusive market is projected to grow 7.1% annually between 2025 and 2033.
George Spanos, Domes Resorts’ chief executive, said: “With the relaunch of Aulūs as an ultra all-inclusive conceptual brand for adults-only and families, we are thrilled to bring our vision to life with this unique hospitality concept.
“Rooted in the emotional beginnings of Domes in Crete and now spanning six resorts on the island, as well as Aulūs Lindos Rhodes in southeastern Greece, Aulūs reflects our ambition to combine elevated cuisine, innovative services and local character with curated experiences that allow guests to truly connect with Greek culture.”
