Geoffrey Kent to accompany 16 guests to Rio Carnival and Iguazú Falls next February
Founder and chief executive of luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent Geoffrey Kent is set to host an exclusive Brazil itinerary, taking in the Rio Carnival and Iguazú Falls.
The eight-day ‘Rio Carnival to Iguazú Falls: An Inspiring Expedition by Geoffrey Kent 2027’ journey will depart on February 5, 2027, with exclusive experiences throughout.
The trip will begin with a behind-the-scenes visit to Maracanã Stadium with a Brazilian footballer, a helicopter tour over the city and an evening at the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain.
Guests will attend the Copacabana Palace Magic Ball, the carnival’s most exclusive event, and experience samba lessons before watching the parade from a private lounge by night.
A private charter flight will then transport clients to Iguazú Falls for a three-night stay at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, the only property inside the national park. Here, guests will enjoy a helicopter flight and boat tour to the base of the waterfall.
Kent said: "Brazil is my second home, and I am thrilled to welcome guests to experience it in the way I love it most. From an exclusive on-field moment with a soccer star and soaring by helicopter around Christ the Redeemer, to diving into the energy of carnival with exclusive VIP access, this journey captures the very soul of Rio.
“Then we’ll continue on to Iguazú Falls, exploring both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides with privileged access and another spectacular helicopter flight, for a perspective on this natural wonder that few others will share."
Prices for the itinerary will start at £96,150 per person, inclusive of all dining, cocktail experiences, personal guides, dedicated photographer, luggage handling and transfers.
