Trio of openings marks ‘significant expansion’ for parent company Hilton Luxury Brands
Waldorf Astoria and Conrad are set to launch new properties in Greece, marking a “significant expansion” for parent company Hilton Luxury Brands.
Waldorf Astoria Scarlet Bay (pictured) will debut in 2029 in the Peloponnese region. The brand’s first Greek outpost will feature 121 rooms and suites, as well as 13 branded residences.
There will also be a Waldorf Astoria Spa, outdoor and indoor pools, a tennis court, fitness centre and kids’ club.
Dining venues on offer will include the brand’s signature Peacock Alley restaurant, alongside a beach club, lobby lounge and coffee shop.
Elsewhere, Conrad Corfu is slated to open its doors ahead of the 2026 summer season. The property will be located on a stretch of beach in the south of the island, offering 136 rooms, suites and villas, many of which with private pools, hot tubs or access to the hotel’s Aqua Piazza lagoon.
It will also house a fine-dining restaurant that specialises in traditional Greek dishes, as well as an all-day dining venue, beachfront cocktail bar and indoor lounge.
Guests will have access to a wellness centre, tennis courts, open-air cinema and kids’ club, as well as an art programme curated by Greek artist Nikos Paleologos.
In the country’s capital, Conrad Athens The Ilisian will open in early 2026, offering 307 rooms, suites and residences, as well as a spa, fitness centre and indoor and outdoor pools.
