Hotel will be located close to the city centre on Monthugi Hill
Tuscan property Borgo Pignano is set to open a sister hotel in Florence in spring 2026.
Borgo Pignano Florence will be housed in a restored 15th-century villa on the northern slopes of Montughi Hill, close to the city centre.
It will comprise 11 buildings with 32 rooms and suites, as well as Villa La Sosta – a five-bedroom residence featuring a private plunge pool and garden.
There will be two restaurants and two bars, including “elegant indoor spaces” and a poolside lounge. Dining venues will be helmed by Michelin-lauded chef Stefano Cavallini and will use organic produce grown at Borgo Pignano, located near Volterra in Tuscany.
Borgo Pignano Florence will also feature a 30-metre heated outdoor pool, a spa, fitness area, solarium deck and running route.
Guests at the property can enjoy private access to the city’s galleries, bespoke historical tours and artist residencies, as well as experiences such as wine and olive oil tastings, cocktail masterclasses and farm-to-table cooking lessons.
