Tour operator Somak Luxury Travel appoints trade engagement manager 

Tour operator Somak Luxury Travel has appointed Scott Cumming as trade engagement manager to strengthen its relationships with travel agents. 

Cumming has previous experience as a home-based travel advisor for Hays Travel where he worked closely with Somak’s reservations team to craft tailor-made holidays. 

In his new role with the operator, Cumming will be the main point of contact for Somak’s agent partners, offering advice across its portfolio of destinations, which span Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Indian subcontinent. 

He will also deliver training and webinars as well as offer one-to-one support and marketing collateral.
