Independent hotel group adds Shinta Mani Wild and Shinta Mani Angkor
Independent hotel group The Set has expanded its portfolio with the addition of two member hotels in Cambodia.
Shinta Mani Wild is located in the Cambodian jungle, featuring 15 tented suites, including two-bedroom options.
Each suite is uniquely designed to showcase the destination’s wildlife and heritage. Highlights include First Lady Jackie Kennedy’s Tent, which is suspended above monsoon rapids and an ode to her 1967 visit, as well as The Birder’s Tent, set on stilts in the jungle canopy and complete with a library of ornithology books.
The Headquarters restaurant offers daily changing menus, while The Landing Zone serves cocktails overlooking a waterfall. Guests also have the option for alfresco private dining experiences.
The spa features two treatment rooms and offers guided yoga, meditation and breathwork classes.
Guests can also enjoy a range of experiences, such as foraging, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, cooking classes.
Shinta Mani Wild is accessible via a 30-minute helicopter flight from Phnom Penh or a two-hour transfer, followed by ziplining into the camp.
The property offers an all-inclusive rate, except for helicopter transfers.
The Set has also added sister property Shinta Mani Angkor (pictured) to its portfolio, located in Siem Reap.
This boutique hotel comprises 105 rooms and suites, spread across two wings of the property, each with its own pool.
There are also 10 two-storey pool villas, featuring a rooftop lounge, an outdoor bathtub, private butler service and the option for in-villa dining.
There are two restaurants, including fine-dining venue Kroyer and all-day casual eatery Baitong, as well as Benley’s Bar for cocktails and live music.
There is also a spa which offers a range of treatments as well as private yoga and meditation sessions.
A variety of guest experiences includes visits to Siem Reap’s Kandal village and Pub Street, tours to Unesco-listed temples, sunset cruises on Tonle Sap Lake and hikes to Kulen Waterfall.
