Former EMEA managing director Dean Bannon will take up role of VP of member success and development
The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has unveiled a series of leadership changes to help it “continue to champion the world’s most exceptional independent luxury hotels”.
Former managing director for EMEA Dean Bannon (pictured) has been appointed as vice-president of member success and development, which will see him relocate from London to New York.
In his new role, Bannon will lead LHW’s global member relationship management teams and oversee member success and development across the portfolio.
He brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across luxury hospitality and has played a “pivotal role” in advancing LHW’s commercial performance across the EMEA region since joining the company in 2020.
Chris Walker, senior vice-president and chief commercial officer, said: “As an organisation proudly owned and led by its member hoteliers since 1928, LHW is built on collaboration, innovation and a shared passion for independent luxury hospitality.
“Dean’s proven leadership at one of our member hotels and within LHW make him well positioned to further elevate the member experience. This promotion allows us to build on the strong momentum he has helped create across our global portfolio, while continuing to thoughtfully develop our membership and drive meaningful value for our hotels worldwide.”
Bannon will be succeeded by Craig Adamson, who will transition from managing director for APAC to managing director, EMEA sales.
Other leadership changes will see Fiza Han expand her responsibilities as interim managing director, APAC.
