The 63-villa Raffles Ranthambore is expected to open in 2027
Raffles Hotels & Resorts has revealed plans to open its third property in India by the middle of 2027.
Raffles Ranthambore will be located in the northern region of Rajasthan within Ranthambore National Park, a wildlife reserve known for its Bengal tiger sightings.
The property will have 63 villas, including 15 luxury tents. It will also feature family suites and a honeymoon suite, as well as the brand’s signature Long Bar venue.
Omar Acar, the group’s chief executive, said: “We are thrilled to grow our presence in India, working with Sukhani Ventures to bring Raffles’ inspirational spirit to the breathtaking landscape of Ranthambore. This extraordinary destination, where history and wildlife intertwine, provides the perfect setting for our legendary hospitality.
“With bespoke programming, highly personalised service and a design that pays homage to the grandeur of the region, Raffles Ranthambore will offer an unforgettable experience – one that blends a sense of adventure with the enchanted glamour our guests cherish.”
Raffles Ranthambore will join the brand’s two other Indian properties: Raffles Udaipur and the recently opened Raffles Jaipur.
The news comes as Raffles’ parent company Accor announced plans to also open a Sofitel Legend property in Rajasthan. Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will have 260 rooms and 41 suites, and is expected to open by the end of 2028.
