Venue will offer dining options, community spaces and events calendar
Los Cabos property One&Only Palmilla has opened a social club that blends “the intimacy of a private members’ club” with the “cultural energy of a community space.”
Palmilla Social Club is designed to be a social and cultural hub for the region, which is located on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
The club is home to a number of dining venues centred around its ‘Rooted in Baja’ culinary programme, including Lucille’s Kitchen, where menus feature locally sourced ingredients, and Lucille’s Café, which serves coffee and pastries.
There is also Sala 56, a bar that offers cocktails and ocean views.
A weekly schedule of events will include weekend markets, game-day brunches, book clubs, meditation sessions and cocktail nights to “celebrate connection between residents, members, guests and travellers”.
Palmilla Social Club also builds on the property’s golf experience, offering a 27-hole course and access to pro clinics.
The club will also support local charities that “give back to the Los Cabos community”.
Earlier this month, the property hosted the Casa Hogar Children’s Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, raising more than $59,000 USD for the local children’s organisation and, in December, the Paws & Claws Charity Drive will generate funds for the Los Cabos Humane Society.
Sergio Pereira, regional managing director for the Americas at One&Only Resorts, said: “The introduction of Palmilla Social Club marks the next chapter in One&Only Palmilla’s legacy – one that honours its storied heritage while embracing the modern traveller’s desire for connection, creativity and cultural immersion.
“Palmilla Social Club is more than a venue – it’s an evolution of how we think about hospitality. Our goal was to create a platform that connects the resort to the local community and invites guests to feel a genuine sense of belonging in Los Cabos.”
