Company’s ‘most ambitious’ programme of workshops will take place next month
Not Just Travel is to stage its “most ambitious” training and celebration event yet, with a Summer Celebration at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham next month.
Travel consultants and the corporate team will join suppliers for what is set to be the company’s biggest-ever programme of business development workshops.
The leadership team will also use the event to set out the company’s direction for the coming year, with a significant new initiative set to be announced.
The event opens with a drinks reception on Friday July 3, followed by a black-tie gala dinner and the NJT Awards 2026 on Saturday July 4.
The second full day will feature workshops and supplier sessions, including panel discussions featuring new consultants and experienced agents whose businesses are growing.
There will be more dedicated time with Not Just Travel’s key trade partners, in response to demand from consultants.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel, said: “We’re not just putting consultants in a room for a day of presentations.
“This event will leave our consultants empowered and super-charged, knowing exactly where to focus and what to do differently.
“The workshop programme is the most substantial we’ve built, and for the first time suppliers will have genuine one-to-one time with consultants rather than just stand space. That was the piece of feedback we kept hearing, so we’ve made it the backbone of the day.”
Witt added: “A lot of our consultants work on their own. Part of what we do is make sure that doesn’t mean working in isolation.
“This will be a celebration of our successes, both as individuals and as a family. Getting everyone in one place, with the suppliers they sell, the colleagues they want to see and learn from, matters more than any single session on the agenda.”
