The Skyblaze Fountain Show at Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal is now set to a soundtrack by Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
‘Diamond in the Desert’ is a four-and-a-half-minute composition inspired by Zimmer’s "immersive journey through Dubai” - marking the composer’s first destination soundtrack.
Zimmer said: “I’ve always been inspired by Dubai’s energy, its boldness, its ambition and its ability to blend cultures in such a unique way.
With ‘Diamond in the Desert’, I wanted to capture that spirit in music. Something powerful, cinematic and deeply connected to this extraordinary city.”
The display has been coordinated in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) to promote cultural tourism in the region.
The DET’s associate vice-president of consumer advocacy Aida Al Busaidy said: “Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global destination for leisure, culture and innovation by embracing bold initiatives that capture the imagination of the world.
“We are honoured that one of our landmark hotels has become the stage for this unique experience, celebrating Dubai’s dynamism and reaffirming our commitment to offering visitors moments of distinction in a manner that reflects Dubai’s stature as a must-visit destination.”
The coordinated fountain display is shown every half hour from 7pm to midnight.
