Brand to open second alpine resort in Colorado
Four Seasons is set to expand its US ski portfolio with a second resort in Colorado.
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride will mark the first five-star development in the mountain town of Telluride in 15 years.
The property will span three connected buildings, featuring 52 rooms, 43 one to four-bedroom hotel residences and 26 private residences, ranging in size from two to five bedrooms.
There will be two dining venues, a fitness centre and a spa, comprising a thermal lounge, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, outdoor hot tub and eight treatment rooms.
The property will offer ski-in ski-out access and be located close to Telluride’s downtown centre.
The project will see Four Seasons work in collaboration with property developers Fort Partners and real estate firm Merrimac Ventures.
Four Seasons’ president of global business development, portfolio management and residential, Bart Carnahan, said: “We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for guests and residents alike to enjoy one of America’s best ski destinations with Four Seasons.
“Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures are the perfect collaborators to bring this project to life – both with a deep understanding of the destination, Four Seasons’ legendary service and a shared commitment to creating exceptional experiences, whether you are visiting for a short time or calling Telluride home.”
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride will join the brand’s North American alpine resorts in Vail (Colorado), Jackson Hole (Wyoming), Santa Fe (New Mexico), and the upcoming Four Seasons Resort and Residences Deer Valley in Utah.
