Company’s Meet & Greet services now available at Manchester Airport
Dnata’s airport hospitality brand Marhaba has introduced its Meet & Greet services to the UK for the first time amid “global expansion plans”.
Marhaba, which launched in the United Arab Emirates in 1991 to help passengers arriving in or departing from Dubai International Airport, began operations at Manchester Airport on September 1.
The brand’s Meet & Greet services assist travellers in navigating airports and flights with fast-track immigration and security access, baggage handling, private lounges and optional porter and chauffeur services, including for late-night flights.
Dnata said the UK launch reflected “broader demand for premium services once reserved for VIPs, with families, corporate travellers and tourists looking to minimise stress at increasingly busy terminals”.
Manchester Airport is estimated to serve 27 million passengers annually.
Clive Sauvé-Hopkins, chief executive of airport operations at dnata, said: “Launching Marhaba in the UK is part of our broader strategy to bring the warmth and care of Arabian hospitality to more travellers around the world.
“This expansion reinforces our focus on delivering a seamless airport experience – one that’s efficient, personal and consistently high quality. As part of dnata, Marhaba builds on our strong UK presence across airport operations, catering, retail and travel services, allowing us to offer even greater value to passengers and partners.”
Marhaba’s signature Meet & Greet services are now available across eight countries in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia.
