Annual ‘Diamond’ sellers trip brought together 33 homeworkers
Designer Travel hosted its top-performing agents in Turkey to thank them for their hard work.
The annual ‘Diamond’ sellers trip hosted 33 homeworkers for a three-night stay at the Anda Barut Collection hotel in Didim on Turkey’s Aegean coast.
Managing director Amanda Matthews said: “This was our annual trip to reward our Diamond sellers for their hard work and allow them to experience the Anda Barut Collection hotel and learn more about Turkey.”
She added: “The Diamond trip was amazing; the hotel looked after us so well. We experienced everything [in the hotel] as well as doing some local shopping and a visit to the ruins.
“All of the team were so impressed with the quality of the hotel and all the inclusions, so we now have lots of plans in place to show our support of the hotel and the destination.”
The agency also took representatives from hotel sales and marketing agency Workham Hotels, which represents the property in the UK, and from easyJet holidays, Inside Travel Group and Wendy Wu Tours.
The hotel said it was committed to strengthening its partnerships with UK tour operators and independent travel agencies.
A spokesperson said: “It was a pleasure to host the Designer Travel Diamond trip at Anda Barut Collection.
“Welcoming some of the UK’s leading independent travel experts to experience the property first hand is incredibly valuable and the Designer Travel agents were fully engaged in experiencing and selling the property as the wider Barut collection.
“The brand is focused on attracting discerning travellers who value high‑quality service, premium all‑inclusive experiences and thoughtfully designed luxury properties - clients seeking elevated hospitality with a personalised touch.
“This makes Barut Hotels a perfect match with companies such as Designer Travel. We look forward to continuing to grow our presence in the UK with the help of Workham Hotels Ltd, by working closely with trusted travel professionals.”
Designer Travel has a trip planned for its Platinum sellers in October on an Explora Journeys ship.
