Splendido’s rooms, suites, restaurants and pool have been redesigned
Splendido, A Belmond Hotel has reopened following an extensive renovation.
The converted 16th-century monastery has seen a renovation of its rooms, suites, pool and restaurants, with designs from Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
One of the key additions is Italy’s first permanent Dior Spa, which offers a variety of treatments across four treatment cabins. Guests will also find an outdoor treatment space offering wellness therapies in the garden, and a roof terrace relaxation area.
A new Baratta Sedici bar is inspired by Ligurian craftsmanship, featuring a botanical mural, white onyx bar and Italian furnishings.
The hotel’s rooms and suites have been redesigned, featuring Midollino Weave designs and headboards and Albissola ceramics.
The Baronessa suite has been modelled around a collection of antiques and curios, featuring a private-entrance garden with access to the pool.
On June 29, Belmond will open a new private villa five minutes from Splendido named Villa Beatrice. The three-floor property with “panoramic sea views” will provide up to 10 guests with 24-hour butler service, chauffeur services, private beach access, a private gym, yoga sessions, cooking classes and cocktail masterclasses.
