CV Villas to give away three-night stay in Morocco to incentivise donations
Guests attending this month’s Aspire Awards will have the chance to donate funds to St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley.
The event is being held at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on November 20 and, as well as celebrating the luxury travel sector, will also raise money for the charity, which provides both physical and emotional support to those living with a life-limiting or terminal condition, and their families.
The hospice has been running for 40 years and supported more than 2,500 patients in 2024. However, it can only currently afford to operate 12 out of its 24 rooms.
St Catherine’s relies greatly on public support and receives around £7.5 million per year in donations.
This is a cause very close to the Aspire team, as the hospice provided invaluable care to Aspire’s account director Toni Austin’s mum from 2022 to 2023.
The team at St Catherine’s said: “Hospices right across the country are in financial crisis, closing beds and two in every five planning to make cuts. St Catherine’s in East Surrey and West Sussex is no different, so to be chosen as Aspire’s charity is an honour.
“It tells our patients, their families and our dedicated teams that the compassion at the heart of our work is seen, valued and shared. [Guests’] generosity will become part of the comfort, dignity and the love that we strive to give every day, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you all from everyone at St Catherine’s.”
CV Villas is once again supporting the awards’ charity and will be giving away a fully staffed villa stay for 10 people in Morocco.
The prize includes three nights in five-bedroom property Dar Jannah in Marrakech, as well as in-villa chef catering, concierge service and a local CV Destination Expert.
CV Villas’ managing director Pete Brudenell said: “This year’s Aspire Awards allow us to honour outstanding individuals and businesses across the luxury travel sector, but also to raise vital funds for St Catherine’s Hospice and supporting the compassionate work they do every day.”
