Amanvari will house 18 casitas on the East Cape of Baja California
Aman Resorts is set to open its first property in Mexico next spring.
Located on the East Cape of Baja California, Amanvari will be situated within the 1,500-acre private Costa Palmas estate, comprising orchards, farmland and swimmable beachfront. It will be a 45-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport.
The property will feature 18 casitas and a collection of branded residences. There will be three dining venues offering varied cuisines, including Italian and Japanese.
Guests will have access to Costa Palmas yacht club, marina and golf course as well as a range of activities such as snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.
At the signature Aman Spa, guests will find a collection of Spa Houses, a sweat lodge, an open-air yoga pavilion and “tranquil spaces designed for calm reflection”.
The property’s design has been led by London-based company Heah&Co and its construction spearheaded by Athens-based architecture firm Elastic Architects. The interiors blend white concrete, natural stone and tropical hardwood, with bespoke ceramics and artwork by local artisans.
Amanvari was originally expected to debut in 2020.
