Review: Secluded sanctuary Areias do Seixo

Deep in the windswept sand dunes of Santa Cruz, just 90 minutes from Lisbon, is the secluded sanctuary of Areias do Seixo. With a name alluding to the surrounding pebbles and sand, this property is designed for natural immersion.

A total of 14 rooms bring the outside in, with warm-toned concrete, driftwood detailing and vintage light fittings; 25 villas – which sleep between six and eight and have their own pools – are decked out in the same vein.
