Six agents are invited to join Visit Portugal in Porto and Douro valley this October
Visit Portugal is recruiting six Aspire agents to journey to Porto and northern Portugal to discover the region’s rich luxury product and enticing experiences.
From 30 September to 3 October, the group will stay at and visit high-end hotels across Porto, Braga, Douro Valley and Vidago, showcasing how a break in Porto can act as a seamless gateway to explore the entire northern region.
Agents will explore the area via a vintage car tour through Porto’s historic centre and a private boat cruise on the Douro River.
The group will have a glimpse into centuries of Portuguese heritage with excursions to the Bom Jesus Sanctuary and the quaint city of Amarante, along with a visit to the artisans of the Filigree Route and a workshop at Boutique dos Relógios.
The region’s gastronomy and plethora of wines will also be showcased with a lunch at Relais & Châteaux property Casa da Calçada and a port tasting experience.
Throughout the trip, agents will connect with local partners and industry experts to deepen their knowledge of the region, discovering how luxury experiences can be crafted here.
Flights to and from Gatwick will be included, alongside all meals, transport, accommodation and exclusive experiences.
