New tour operator arm will offer end-to-end journey management and concierge services
Luxury travel company Winged Boots is set to launch a dedicated trade division designed to help agents handle complex, high-value bookings.
Set to officially launch on October 21, Winged Boots For Agents will offer 360-degree end-to-end journey management, concierge services and 24/7 support via phone, WhatsApp and email.
The new division is aimed at complex, multi-centre itineraries with significant budgets. Each member of the sales team holds a minimum of 10 years’ experience in luxury travel planning.
The rollout follows the launch of a customer-facing podcast hosted by its agents to drive direct referrals and showcase personalised travel experiences.
Part of the Ocean Holidays group, Winged Boots follows sister brand Ocean Florida, which launched its own trade division five years ago and now generates a third of group revenue.
David Ox, managing director of Winged Boots, said: “Luxury travel is becoming more complex. Clients are asking for bespoke, multi-centre, experience-led travel, often spanning multiple destinations across continents.
“Agents need trusted partners who can handle these enquiries without compromising service. Winged Boots For Agents exists to solve that problem.”
He added: “We know there is growing demand for specialist luxury partners within the trade. That’s why we’re combining the proven trade expertise of Ocean Florida Trade – including members of its founding team – with the service, supplier relationships and product expertise of Winged Boots.”
Agents booking through the new division will also gain access to the Winged Boots Extra Mile programme, which offers networking events, luxury brand partnerships and client-hosting opportunities.
Ahead of the official rollout, the team has undertaken a soft launch with select luxury agencies and confirmed attendance at upcoming trade conferences for Advantage Travel Partnership, Hays Travel and The Travel Network Group.
Mandy Fisher, of luxury agency Nesoi Travel, said: “As a luxury travel specialist, it’s so important that I work with partners I can trust, and Matt [Clayton, trade sales manager] is exactly that.
“Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, he takes the time to understand what’s needed and provides a range of options, explaining the benefits of each so we can make the best decision for our clients.”
