Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach will open in winter 2027 on Collins Avenue
Hilton has unveiled plans to open a Waldorf Astoria property in Miami.
The brand’s first property in the city will take over a “premier” Miami Beach hotel, with relaunch scheduled for winter 2027.
Following a “meticulous renovation”, the hotel will feature 348 suites, a new food and beverage programme and an updated spa and wellness experience, including an enhanced fitness centre.
The lobby will also be renovated, and Waldorf Astoria’s signature Peacock Alley venue will be added.
The property will be located within Miami Beach’s luxury hotel corridor on Collins Avenue, offering direct access to the sand and ocean and skyline views.
The area’s range of dining, nightlife and cultural venues will also be within easy reach.
Danny Hughes, president of Americas at Hilton, said: “This signing reflects the continued momentum of Hilton’s luxury portfolio growth in highly sought-after destinations across the Americas.
“With a growing Florida presence that now spans from Orlando to South Florida, our luxury brands continue to resonate with travellers seeking bespoke experiences.”
