Operator will feature in The Orient Express: A Golden Era of Travel documentary
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has introduced a European cruise and rail booking incentive to tie in with a More 4 documentary.
The luxury river operator will feature in three episodes of the new programme, The Orient Express: A Golden Era of Travel, with its exclusive private rail partner in Europe, Golden Eagle Luxury Trains.
They will debut on the show on September 10 and star in the following two episodes.
Uniworld is encouraging agents to use the new show as a sales and marketing tool for its European cruise and rail collection.
Every agent that makes a European booking from the World’s Greatest River and Rail Journeys collection by September 26 will receive a case of six bottles of champagne and a place on a Uniworld European fam trip in 2026.
To enter, agents will need to email details of their new bookings to agency.sales@uniworld.com.
The collection has seven itineraries pairing a Uniworld sailing with a journey on the Golden Eagle Danube Express.
Highlights include the 14-day Paris to Istanbul from £17,350, the 17-day Venice, Istanbul & the Balkans from £19,978, the 15-day Grand Alpine & the Jewels of the Veneto from £20,278 and the 14-day Grand Alpine & the Enchanting Danube from £20,348.
Prices are per person sharing.
Uniworld UK and Europe managing director Chris Townson said: “This new TV programme will inspire us all on the glamour of luxury train travel, and we are proud to partner with Golden Eagle Luxury Trains, combining the romance of their elegant private trains with the boutique atmosphere of our one-of-a-kind ships in one seamless holiday.
“Both offer a wealth of exclusive experiences, fine dining and a highly personalised service in ultra-luxury surroundings, offering the best of both worlds.”
He added: “We are firm believers in the opportunity that TV exposure provides to help agents articulate the holiday experience to their clients and we hope our new incentive will encourage agents to watch the programme and encourage their clients to do the same, inspiring and informing them on this romantic and discerning way to travel.”
