Martin Vossen joins with 34 years of global hospitality experience
Ultima Collection has appointed seasoned Swiss hotelier Martin Vossen as chief executive.
The company said Vossen, who has 34 years of global hospitality experience, will “lead the brand into a new era of expansion and innovation”.
Vossen most recently served as chief executive of Swiss hospitality company Hera Hospitality Operations, where he was responsible for developing a luxury boutique hotel brand across New York, Mykonos, Berlin, Mauritius and Botswana in collaboration with Monoplan AG and the Collection brands by Marriott International.
He also previously served as chief executive of Planhotel Hospitality Group across Europe, Africa and the Indian Ocean and Crown & Champa Resorts, the largest resort group in the Maldives with properties including Kudadoo Private Island and Hurawalhi Resort.
Vossen has also held leadership roles with Conrad Rangali Island, COMO Hotels & Resorts in Bhutan and Giardino Hotel Group in Zurich.
Ultima Collection said Vossen’s credentials would “serve as the foundation for shaping Ultima Collection’s strategic plan over the coming years”, with a particular focus on the opening of Ultima Promenade Gstaad in December 2025.
Ultima Collection’s chief commercial officer Sven Flory said: “Martin’s appointment marks a significant step forward in our journey. His proven international leadership with strategic and operational experience makes him the ideal choice to guide Ultima Collection.
“At our core, our mission is dedicated to creating moments that transcend the ordinary; moments of joy, relaxation, and celebration in the most outstanding surroundings. This is what truly sets us apart: “Mastering the Art of You.”
Vossen added: “Ultima Collection embodies a new, unique individuality of luxury with exceptional privacy. It is a privilege to join such a visionary brand.
“I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen Ultima Collection’s unique positioning and continue delivering exceptional offerings for our guests.”
Ultima Collection’s ultra-luxury portfolio spans Switzerland, France and Greece with hotels, private chalets, villas and residences in Gstaad, Crans-Montana, Geneva, Courchevel, Megève, Cannes, Mykonos, Corfu and Athens.
