UK trade bookings open for Nile private yacht charter

UK travel agents can now book private charters along the Nile on luxury vessel Nubia Dahabeya, following its successful Abta registration.

Accommodating up to 12 guests, the six-cabin sailing boat operates four-night voyages between Luxor and Aswan in Upper Egypt, with itineraries tailored to groups’ interests.

Journeys can include visits to the Temple of Esna, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Kom Ombo’s twin temple, the ancient quarries of Gebel el-Silsila and the rock-cut tombs of El Kab.

Other cultural excursions that can be added include private talks with a Nubian herbalist, evening bonfires on secluded islands and guided walks.

Cuisine on board is inspired by local ingredients and regional recipes, with the vessel’s design also drawing influence from local craftsmanship.

Next year, a one-off sailing will showcase the total solar eclipse on August 2. Experiences on offer will include moorings to view the spectacle, a champagne breakfast and private performance of traditional Nubian music around a bonfire.

Four-night full-board charters start from £17,000, including airport transfers, local transport, excursions and temple tours, while the August 2027 solar eclipse sailing is priced at £22,000.

Agents are able to make bookings with the brand directly, with 20% commission offered.
