Travel Counsellors bolsters team by almost 100 in last quarter

Travel Counsellors welcomed 95 new agents in the last quarter, including former police officers, childminders, landscaping specialists, business executives and a professional footballer-turned-coach.

The total represented a 67% year-on-year increase compared to the previous year, bringing the company’s number of homeworkers up to more than 2,200. 

The largest induction group to date saw a total of 37 new corporate and leisure agents launch their businesses, representing a 38% increase on the previous record set in January. 

The new joiners included experienced travel industry professionals, those returning to the sector and individuals making a career change. 

Two former airline cabin crew members have joined forces to build their business together, using their shared industry expertise.
