Swords Travel honours suppliers at 10th anniversary

Swords Travel honoured its top supplier partners during the agency’s 10th anniversary celebration in Wimbledon Village on June 27.

Voted for by the agency’s 22-strong team, the Decade of Partnership awards recognised the companies and individuals who “go above and beyond to deliver what [Swords Travel] aspires to as a business”.

Tara Johson, private travel designer at Elegant Resorts, was recognised as the agency’s Supplier Team Champion.

Sani/Ikos Group won Luxury Hotel Partner, while Mason Rose took the accolade for Luxury Hotel Representation Partner.

Other winners included Carrier for Luxury Tour Operator Partner, Explora Journeys for Luxury Cruise Partner and Pure Escapes for Luxury Destination Management Partner.

Carrier’s Georgia Bowhay was recognised as Outstanding Account Manager, while Robert White of The Travel Network Group was awarded the title for 10 Years of Outstanding Support to Swords Travel.

Founders Mark and Stuart Swords said: "[These companies and individuals] are there during the good times, but most importantly, during the bad times. They are consistent, they are aspirational and they ooze the essence of luxury travel.

“Not only are they incredible at what they do, they are also forward thinkers, they invest in the latest technology and they genuinely take time to understand our clients’ needs, our needs and where the travel market is heading in the future.”
