Sales and marketing firm running agent incentives and fam trips as part of celebrations
Seamless Travel Marketing’s director Scott Langridge has said he feels “very optimistic about what [the company] can achieve” as it celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
The luxury sales and marketing company, which launched in June 2015, has been running a month-long agent incentive throughout June to mark the milestone.
Every hotel in the company’s 10-strong portfolio has donated a stay to be offered as a prize. Agents who register bookings for the hotels during June have been entered into a prize draw, with a total of 10 accommodation prizes available. Winners will be announced at the start of July.
Langridge said: “We’ve had a really, really strong uptake, which is really pleasing. So far we’ve had more than 200 entrants, which is great considering how challenging the market is. We’re delighted with the pickup.”
Langridge also said the campaign has helped broaden Seamless Travel Marketing’s reach, as agents “that we actually haven’t met before” have entered.
The company is also hosting an increased number of fam trips throughout 2025 to mark the anniversary to destinations such as Mykonos, Cyprus, the Maldives and Mauritius.
To aid its success, Seamless Travel Marketing has appointed two new members of staff, growing its sales team from two to four. Graham Hawkins has taken up the role of agency sales manager, while Joanna George joins as client relationship executive.
“From a trade perspective, we’ve widened the team this year, so we’ve got someone who is dedicated to being on the road, which allows us to reach more agents,” Langridge said.
“We’ve doubled the business from two to four because we realised that it’s tough out there and you need to be ever present.”
Despite the start of the year being “challenging” due to political and climate-related events, Langridge said the hotels in the company’s portfolio are “very happy with where we’re at” and that the team is “very optimistic about what we can achieve for the remainder of the year”.
To further support the trade, Seamless Travel Marketing has set up a variety of WhatsApp groups with different agents and tour operators to “share knowledge and be present”.
The company intends to introduce a dedicated agent portal later this year for advisors to download factsheets, images and videos. It also has plans to introduce two agent roadshows – one in the north and one in the south – to connect representatives from its hotels with a selection of agents.
Head of client relationships Lyndsey Berry said the roadshows would launch “ideally towards the end of this year, but we may have to potentially push it into the start of 2026”.
The team will continue to host a range of trade events for the remainder of 2025. Langridge said: “It doesn’t have to be a big, flashy dinner. We try to do what the agents want to do. If they want to go for a party or a glass of wine, we’ll do that. Or, if they want to go for an afternoon tea, we’ll do that.”
