The line will offers tools and resources for selling product and destinations
Seabourn will reintroduce its Expedition Month initiative for agents this June.
The line will offer members of the trade expert-led destination webinars, newsletters with selling skills, product showcases and social media quizzes with spot prizes.
Each week will focus on a different destination and agents are encouraged to register for 45-minute webinars hosted by Seabourn’s expedition experts, which will take place on Tuesdays at 9am.
The first webinar on June 3 will see Seabourn’s vice-president of expeditions Robin West give insight into Seabourn’s 23-strong expedition team.
West will return on June 17 to discuss Seabourn’s expedition ships, including their "luxury amenities and specialist expedition facilities", and again on June 24 to cover Seabourn Exclusives, which range from the ships’ six-seater submarines to the company’s environmental and sustainability practices.
On June 10, Seabourn’s manager of expedition voyages Dr Danae Sheehan will deliver a webinar on the wildlife passengers are likely to encounter on a Seabourn trip.
Throughout June, Seabourn is also giving agents the chance to win Seabourn and Helly Hansen branded jackets.
To enter, agents need to register and attend at least two of the webinars and make and confirm a new Seabourn expedition booking between June 1 and August 31.
Seabourn UK and EMEA vice-president Lynn Narraway said: “Following the success of our first ever Expedition month in June 2024, and the feedback we received from agent partners, we have made the decision to repeat this ‘event’, with new expert-led content, sales, and learning opportunities.
“We will also offer an extra bonus of up to US$500 per suite shipboard spend to help agents attract their clients to book during the month of June.”
Narraway continued: “We urge travel partners to firstly visit SeabournAcademy.co.uk and take our ‘Selling Seabourn’s Ultra-Luxury Expedition Travel by Ship’ module, which is the best introduction to selling ultra-luxury expeditions – taken in their own time - with expert tips on marketing to potential expedition travellers.”
