Developments include a new property launch and expanded suite offering
Sani/Ikos Group has unveiled a raft of updates across its nine properties in Greece and Spain for the 2026 season.
Sani Resort in Halkidiki, Greece, is scheduled to reopen on April 2, unveiling the final stage in the renovation of its Sani Asterias property.
Further enhancements to the hotel’s main building and shared spaces will create a “more elegant and welcoming sense of arrival”.
The property’s flagship dining venue Water Restaurant & Bar has also been refreshed to reflect chef Bruno Oger’s “distinctive culinary style”.
At Porto Sani, Sani Resort’s family-friendly hotel, chef Andoni Aduriz will join the team as consultant chef to guide the “continued evolution” of its El Puerto restaurant.
The resort has also enhanced its family offering with a new partnership with food stylist Donna Hay, who will help create a series of food-led activities for children.
A series of initiatives will return to Sani Resort for 2026, including the Dunes Beach Pop-Up Bar, Sani Gourmet dining experiences (July 10 to August 7) and music event Sani Festival (July 11 to August 15).
The Sani Suite Collection of the resort’s most spacious and premium accommodations has also been enhanced, with “thoughtful refinements” to improve space and support longer stays.
Ikos Resorts is also preparing to unveil a series of updates, the most notable of which being the launch of its first property in Crete, Ikos Kissamos.
The hotel will open in April on the island’s northwest coast, offering a “curated collection” of dining venues, including Cretan restaurant Kriti and La Plage, which specialises in French cuisine.
Elsewhere, Ikos Resorts will expand its portfolio of Deluxe villas and suites at selected resorts. New Deluxe three and four-bedroom villas will be introduced at Ikos Odisia in Corfu and Ikos Porto Petro in Majorca, with the latter also launching new one-bedroom suites.
Guests staying in Deluxe accommodation will benefit from exclusive access to selected pool and beach areas, a selection of premium wines and extended use of the electric Mini Countryman Local Drive Adventure for up to two complimentary days.
Other benefits include complimentary access to the group’s dining and activity experience for children Heroes Supper Club, as well as personalised concierge services and complimentary airport transfers.
A series of new dining venues will also launch at Ikos Porto Petro, including the new Ouzo restaurant and an adult-only breakfast experience at Oliva Restaurant.
Out-of-resort dining has also been strengthened across the portfolio with an expanded selection of local restaurants available for guests to experience at no additional cost.
At Ikos Odisia and Ikos Dassia, both in Corfu, guests will have access to a complimentary golf experience at Corfu Golf Club once per stay, including transfers, equipment, green fees and use of a golf buggy.
The group’s Local Drive Adventure has also been updated for 2026 with the introduction of a new partnership with Mini. Complimentary one-day use of an electric Mini Countryman is included for all guests, with extended access for Deluxe Collection guests.
