Additions include Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk and two new openings
Luxury hotel association Relais & Châteaux has introduced 10 new members to its collection.
The only UK property joining the portfolio is Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk – a collection of 29 cottages and barns and an eight-bedroom manor house set within a 6,000-acre countryside estate.
Each of the accommodation options hosts between two and 18 people, with the estate also incorporating a spa and heated outdoor pool.
Also added to the Relais & Châteaux collection is La Maison des Cimes in Malbuisson, France, which will open this August. The converted carpenter’s workshop, located on the shore of Lake Saint-Point, houses six rooms and two suites, while the culinary offering comes in the form of with wood-fired cuisine from chef and co-founder Matthias Marc, former owner of a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris.
Other European properties joining the portfolio include Verride Palácio de Santa Catarina in Lisbon, Portugal; Masseria AuraTerrae in Polignano a Mare, Italy; Megève Bois in Megève, France; Relais Villa Corallo in Sant’Omero, Italy; and Villa Florhof in Zurich, Switzerland.
Joining the collection when it debuts in August 2027 is The Nell New York – a 134-key art deco property on Rockerfeller Plaza, with a 17th-floor restaurant overlooking the famed Christmas tree and ice rink.
Historic Japanese ryokan Hiiragiya in Kyoto and Quintonil Restaurant in Mexico City have also been added to the collection.
The association’s president Laurent Gardinier said: “Our association is firmly committed to a sustainable path so as to contribute, through cuisine and hospitality, to building a more humane and united world, in harmony with living things.
It is an honour for me to welcome these ten new members to Relais & Châteaux, properties that share not only our values, but our passion for goodness and beauty.”
