Raffles to make debut in Mexico

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has revealed plans to open its first property in Mexico in 2029.

Raffles Estera East Cape will be located on a stretch of beach an hour’s drive from Los Cabos airport.

The property will feature 80 rooms and 46 residences, as well as a spa, watersports centre, multiple outdoor pools, and kids’ and teens’ clubs. There will also be seven dining venues, including signature venues Raffles Long Bar and Writer’s Bar.

Residents of Raffles Estera East Cape will have access to the hotel’s amenities as well as exclusive beach and mountain clubs.

The group’s chief executive, Omer Acar, said: “The announcement of Raffles Estera East Cape, Raffles’ first resort in North America, is a landmark moment for our beloved brand. East Cape, with its striking beauty, rich culture and tradition of warm hospitality, offers the perfect setting to bring our vision to life.

“This resort will be more than a new destination, it will be a bold expression of our brand’s commitment to remarkable design, sustainable practices and the art of exceptional guest experiences. Raffles Estera East Cape will join the group’s other upcoming openings in Italy and India.
