Six itineraries will combine the brand’s train, hotel and yacht products
Orient Express has launched a collection of Grand Italian Tours, combining stays in the brand’s hotels with journeys on its La Dolce Vita Orient Express train and Orient Express Corinthian yacht.
The itineraries will run between July 19 and September 20, with each one combining at least two models of travel: train, yacht or hotel.
Guests will have the chance to stay at Orient Express La Minerva in Rome and Orient Express Venezia in Venice.
Journeys between destinations will take place on board La Dolce Vita Orient Express or Orient Express Corinthian, which set sail this month.
All itineraries include a “dedicated destination experience”, including a private visit to a Sienese palazzo, dinner in the Gardens of Augustus in Capri, a truffle hunt in Istria, or an evening at the Palais Bulles in Cannes. Additional experiences are available on request.
The Grand Italian Tours collection includes a seven-night journey from Venice to the French Riviera from July 19-26 and a 12-night itinerary travelling from Rome to Valetta between July 30 and August 11.
Other programmes include a nine-night journey between Dubrovnik and Rome; a seven-night itinerary calling in Rome, Portofino, the Adriatic Coast and Venice; and a seven-night tour from Venice to Provence.
The final journey will depart on September 12, visiting Rome, Matera, Capri, Porto Cervo and Provence over eight nights.
Itineraries combine time in transit and extended stays, with transfers arranged between each stage.
