One&Only Resorts sets sights on London address amid global expansion

Luxury hotel brand One&Only Resorts has confirmed it is hoping to open a property in London.

Speaking at Aspire’s Leaders of Luxury conference on June 22, global head of operations at One&Only Resorts, Siro and Rare Finds Matt Georgiou said London is not “an easy market to enter” but confirmed the One&Only team is “working very hard to find a location here”.

He added: “[We are also] looking at existing properties we could possibly take over.”

He also shared ambitions to introduce wellness hotel brand Siro to the capital, saying: “I would hope to see Siro in gateway cities around the world like London, Paris, Moscow and many more.”

"Maybe a big city like London could even have three, four or five Siro properties in different locations across vibrant neighbourhoods," he added.

Siro is already set to open properties in Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Tokyo, as well as its first US property in Miami in 2030.

Georgiou said that because of the brand’s focus on wellness, “people will realise they need the Siro environment”.

He added: “We see it as somewhere people can rely on during their travels.”
